Cream Soda Fish & Chips Recipe


100g Plain Flour

200ml Soda Folk Cream Soda

4 Cod Fillets

Chips, peas & lemon to serve


Heat a deep fat fryer or pan of oil to 180 degrees celsius. Whisk together the flour and Soda Folk Cream Soda to make batter. Dip cod into batter and cover completely. Lower into the hot oil CAREFULLY and cook for around 7 minutes or until golden brown and crispy, remove from oil and allow to drain on paper towels. Serve with chips, peas & a squeeze of lemon juice.
